BIG DREAMS

Peter Stout • Dec 01, 2022

So much to do - so little time

I have more incredible projects to work on than I can possibly juggle all at once. Digital Art, VFX, business, several social media channels and launching my own personal brand. I have to remind myself that I'm only 20 and have plenty of time to do everything

This post is going to serve as a reminder to return to them when I have time and also to share my passions.

Acrylic University

On Black Friday, we launched 3 new Miniature Painting Challenge products to huge success. We've done over 6 figures in sales this month (Nov 22). It feels so surreal. We would have lost our minds if we knew this is where we'd be when we started but at the same time it doesn't feel like much - simply because I know how small of a company we are in the grand scheme of things. We're seriously just getting started expanding into the Acrylic Painting Market.

Thousands of artists are being blessed by Acrylic University's encouragement and teaching. Our mission is to bring beauty to the world by helping artists flourish and that's exactly what we're doing. Our members are helping us create a community that's safe, encouraging, positive and uplifting. It's a safe haven from all the anxiety and division in today's world and I love that.

Next year we're going to expand + simplify our Masterclass program and work on creating an automated evergreen version. We'll also continue providing our members with the best teaching and encouragement they'll ever find.

Content Creation and Video Marketing

I have a plethora of TikTok / YouTube projects that I'm working on in my spare time. I'm always looking for new opportunities. The channels I run or manage include:

  • P3terpan (YouTube) - My personal YouTube gaming channel. Currently at 9,200 subscribers. In March - April of this year I covered a new video game called Tiny Tina's Wonderlands. I created a unique stand-out formula for the videos that helped me generate 300,000+ views, 1.2k subscribers and a $3 CPM. - in a single month. Incredible for the gaming niche!  I stopped working on the channel because the game declined rapidly but pocketed more than $500 for a month's work of effort here and there. Not bad! Currently waiting for Borderlands 4 to release. That will be a much bigger game and I expect to see even bigger success there using my formula
  • The American Nightmare (TikTok + YouTube) - I'm creating short videos covering financial crime topics. It's extremely easy to get these to go viral. My most recent video has half a million on TikTok, reached the front page of r/all and gained me over 3k followers on TikTok. I don't post here often - if I did, I could easily reach 100,000 followers or more in a month's time depending on the news at the time. Originally these were meant to be more artistic and expressive but that led to some inaccuracies in the information I was sharing. My focus now has shifted more towards an emphasis on accurate information. I will never monetize this or the audience there, I simply want to spread awareness and practice video marketing
  • EncasePC (TikTok) - One of my long term clients and friends Luke Mackaman has launched a new business called Encase. They are the world's first production gaming PC inside of a desk. He is using TikTok as his primary marketing channel and partnered with me to help create engaging short form content for his TikTok. My most recent video went viral @ 660,000 views and netted him over 400 email sign ups in a few short days. He has created a massive emailing list using only TikTok - what would 400 new email sign ups do for your business?
  • HoHoJoe - I am helping my brother market his incredibly unique, engaging and funny art style on YouTube through short animated stories and movie reviews. I am helping him with video and channel strategy + thumbnail and title creation. He has gone from 0 to 1k subscribers in under a year. Extremely hard to do on YouTube. No matter what your passion is, I can help you share it effectively on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram
  • Outlaw TLOU (Unreleased) - The game dev studio Naughty Dog is working on a standalone version of the multiplayer from their 2013 video game The Last of Us. It's expected that they'll expand upon the elements that made the first multiplayer so successful and create a much larger, more ambitious game. It's also expected to be a huge live service title for Sony. I expect this game to be MASSIVE - possibly as big as PUBG or Fortnite for a few reasons. 1) The Last of Us 2's gameplay is more engaging and cinematic than any other title on the market. It's like playing a movie. If Naughty Dog can transfer that gameplay smoothly to a tense multiplayer setting, it will blow every other competitor out of the water. A game that combines the intense elements of a Battle Royale or extraction shooter with the gameplay of The Last of Us 2 would be absurdly addicting. 2) Sony has stated that their live service games will launch on PC as well which means this game will have an even broader audience. It will also be more accessible to content creators who will help fuel interest in the game. Could be a huge opportunity for me. Channels like BCC Trolling were making a quarter of a million per month minimum from just ad revenue during Fortnite's hayday.

Personal Brand - Peter Stout

I'm also slowly working on fine-tuning my own brand as a content creator, marketing expert, entrepreneur and videographer. I'd like to have a larger personal presence online. This website and blog are part of that process. My goal is to share advice and encouragement related to content creation, videography, productivity, marketing and business - something kind of like Gary Vee with more of a fun-loving, scatter-brained nerdy aspect to it.

I want to do this for a couple reasons - for one thing it's just fun and for another it will help open up more opportunities in the future.

My next step is to launch my YouTube channel. I already have a few video ideas planned. These are the rough ideas - not final titles

  • The Ultimate Windows Productivity Workflow
  • Windows Diehard Tries a Macbook Pro For the First Time
  • Building a Home Server - Synology NAS
  • Launch a Six Figure Online Course With Me

And many more. Anytime I'm doing my job and I think 'I know lots of people would benefit from this,' I can turn that into a great video.

VFX and Digital Art

Getting a Macbook pro and using it in conjunction with my Windows PC and a home server has transformed the way I work and opened up new possibilities for me. For a long time I've been interested in VFX and Digital Art. I've dabbled here and there but currently am committed to making a full-fledged 3D CS:GO fragmovie using Blender, UE5, Marvelous Designer and Houdini. I'll learn so much bout VFX along the way and plan to film the entire process and make a documentary out of it when I'm finished. I got a Huion Kamvas 13 to help me with use in my VFX workflow AND to pursue digital painting more. There's truly so much I can do with just a few tools - it's super exciting to think about.

I've already started storyboarding the 3D movie and plan to use Blender to make a much more detailed storyboard before I completely dive into everything. I'm going to use the song Uprising by Muse. The film will be a commentary on the disaster that is American capitalism

Long term I plan to use Blender + Photoshop to illustrate a complete rulebook for my TTRP that I've been working on for 9+ years - Adventure Quest.

The sky is truly the limit. So many good things to do, may God grant me the focus to do them all
